Bosch was sired by the second Boerboel imported into America. At his prime he was 150 lbs at his lazy winter weight and a lean and well muscled 140lbs at a working weight. Bosch lived to be an impressive 12 years old and and was retired from weight pull at 7 1/2 after taking second in his weight class in a national pull sanctioned by the SBCA. Bosch and his Dam were the first Boerboels in the world to title in weight pull and he is currently one of the most decorated in his breed for the sport.
Bosch's temperament and personality was truly amazing! He has been described as "jovial" and it is a word that fits him well. He was a love sponge with his family and guarded his pack with dedication and enthusiasm of a true Boerboel. Bosch is SABT, USBA, AKC and NKC registered. Bosch was a truly one of a kind dog and is greatly missed by our family and all that knew him. We luckily have several breedings stored and hope to someday use him on an equally spectacular female.
